Preferences: Startup and Shutdown

Deciding when GrandBackup should start:

Run at system startup - Check to start GrandBackup when you log in. Uncheck to only run GrandBackup when you need it.

Run minimized - Check to start the program as an icon in the system tray. Uncheck to see the main window when GrandBackup starts.

Hide icon from system tray - Check to hide the GrandBackup icon from the system tray. If it is hidden, GrandBackup will run in the background but you will not see the icon. If you want to see the main screen while it is running in the background, simply start GrandBackup again from the Start menu.

Shut down when main window is closed - Check to exit GrandBackup when you close the main window. If this is not checked GrandBackup closes the main window but continues to run minimized in the system tray.

Show shutdown confirmation dialog - Check to display the GrandBackup Shutdown confirmation dialog when you exit GrandBackup.

Show main window on Hot Key - Specify the Hot Key that will show the main window of GrandBackup.

Show splash screen at startup - If checked, GrandBackup will display its splash screen whenever you launch the application. The splash screen shows the ObjectRescue logo and the version number of GrandBackup.
